Mozgov joins Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired centre Timofey Mozgov on Wednesday, the NBA team confirmed.
Mozgov has played 35 games for the Denver Nuggets this season, averaging 8.5 points and 7.8 rebounds.
The 28-year-old, 216cm Russian joins the Cavs in exchange for two protected 2015 first-round picks, while Cleveland get a second-round pick.
Mozgov reunites with former Russia coach and current Cavs boss David Blatt, with whom he won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
The Cavs held a 19-16 win-loss record heading into their clash against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
However, there have been reports of a rift developing – and the Cavs have been beaten in six of their past eight outings.
